Senior Year: Week 4

Week Four Monday: Today there was no school because it's labor day so I slept in for the first time in a while which was amazing. I watched a lot of Netflix and RuPaul's Drag Race. I reviewed English, Physics, and Precalc. I also rehearsed all the music for Beauty and the Beast as well as ran through the entire script. I am back to a busy schedule tomorrow! Tuesday: I had an odd burst of energy today! Ate at Val's w/ Danni. Afterwards at 5:30 I had a musical sing through with the orchestra and then we got a few pages into act two of blocking! Finally got home around 10:00! Wednesday: I would like to call yesterday my final surge of energy before death because today I feel like POOP. Massive headache! School is kicking my butt! Went home after school and took a long nap because I felt so poopy! Then at 4:00 I went back to school and painted posters for volleyball. I'm actually pretty proud of the poster I made. Thursday: Death is slowly becoming me. ...

Senior Year: Week 3

Image
Week Three So I am really liking the setup I did last week because it allows me to write each day what happened, instead of trying to remember at the end of the week. So here's to week 3 of senior year! Monday: Here we are again! School was pretty chaotic as always, I'm trying to understand as much as I can about physics and precalc. Precalc is not going too well though, but that's a long story. After school I slept because I wasn't busy and I took advantage of that. Tuesday: BUSY BUSY BUSY. Of course there was school. In Concert Choir we are working hard to get prepared for the musical! Finally got to see my Mrs. Potts costume! It's absolutely stunning! It is lavender, white, and gold with a bunch of pearls beaded into it! I had cheer practice after school, it was pretty rough. We weren't hitting stunts, I got hit in the head many times, and I sprained my toe... it was just a rough practice. I proceeded to have musical rehearsal after cheer. We...

2nd Week of Senior Year!

2nd Week of Senior Year! (It's been a rough week) I am trying a new format this week! Please let me know if you prefer last weeks or this weeks! This week was busy, busy, busy! I am slowly getting used to being busy all the time. Of course through each weekday I go through a regular school day with all my classes listed in the last blog, and I have 8th hour out, so I get to go home and prep for anything I have going on later in the day and I even take much needed 30 minute power naps before I head off to practice. Monday: First official free day in an entire week! I had no work and no extracurricular activities after school! This was so relieving, I spent the day watching movies on Netflix and catching up on some much needed sleep! Of course I did all of this after watching the solar eclipse that occurred! We hit totality around 1:24 PM. You could hear birds singing their night song, crickets chirping, and see the 360 sunset. The entire high school went out to the house ...

First Few Days of Senior Year!

First Few Days of Senior Year Wednesday August 16, 2018 @ 6:57 AM- I began my morning by waking up far earlier than I wanted to. I dressed up cute, had my hair and makeup did, only to realize that it was pouring rain outside so I just put a sweatshirt on. SENIORITIS IS REAL. I got to school, grabbed my schedule and proceeded throughout my day. I learned I have every single class first and second semester with my best friend Danni! This blog will be laid out by days and what is happening. I was very busy and very exhausted! But more exhaustion is to come! Classes: Wednesday through Friday: I had physics first hour and realized that I actually like the teacher and the class. It seems like it will be lots of fun! I'm trying not to psyche myself out before I even have a chance to begin to learn the material.  Not very excited about pre-calc/trig. It just hurts my brain being in the classroom. But, I also think that partially has to do with the fact I skip ...

2 WEEKS NOTICE!

Image
BHS Class of 2018 Wednesday, August 2nd 2017. It's official. We have 2 weeks before our last first day of high school. We have been counting down the hours, minutes, and seconds to encounter the upcoming moment. The beginning of a end. I know the night before for the first day I will be texting and snap chatting all my friends. I'll be asking them "How they're feeling? What are they going to wear? Are we ready to wing it on how we're going to intimidate the freshies and underclassmen? and Are we ready for our parents huge sob show, as if they were watching the ending of Marley & Me for the first time, as we drive to a bunch of boring bricks stuck together to keep us enclosed for the last first day?" I for one, am excited, nervous, and sad to start my 12th year of school. Once these 268 days of school (270 if you're counting until graduation) are all over we leave behind the people we love, the people we hate, and the people we d...
